I am always on the lookout for new Sock Patterns and techniques. I do like knitting socks on 9cm circular needles no worries about ladders and loosing needles. Socks are an ideal project for "plane/travel knitting" generally they are easy to pick up and put down without loosing your place in the pattern.
My current favourites are the Hiking Socks by Bruce Weinstein and the 6 ply Socks by Winick Mum
The current goal is for DH to have 12 pairs of hand knitted socks, one for each month of the year. Does anyone have 52 pairs of hand knitted socks for each week of the year ?
