The Moebius technique was made popular by the fabulous Cat Bordhi. Her legacy website has several patterns including the Lacey Moebius Cowl that can be knitted as a first moebius project . I refer to her YouTube Moebius Cast on video whenever I need a reminder of the cast on process.
Another excellent moebius for beginners is the Topsy Turvey Moebius by the Rainey sisters I have lost count how many of these scarves I have made, see many of them here
